I have no idea why I’m so intrigued by this guy but I recently watched a four-part documentary about his life and I think it’s the best thing I’ve seen in a year in terms of raw and authentic documentary work which is what I kinda want to do when I go
Actually, I kinda do know why I’m so interested, and I think it’s because his ego grew way out of proportion after he got rich yet he still managed to stay super authentic throughout his growth and he remained genuine to himself. The documentary also showed how much pain someone has to battle through while attempting to figure out who the fuck they really are.
The ending of the documentary really fucking got me and I cried a little bit because it reminded me of someone I knew a while back that attempted to do the same things to his/her body.
I think it’s worth watching at least the first part of the series to see if it’s something that’s interesting for you. Personally, I’m super fascinated with people that live excessive lives because I can’t really be involved in that right now but it’s enlightening to see it happening and how they actually deal with all the challenges and shit.
Well, that’s about it. You can take a look at the first part of the documentary below and see if it’s interesting enough to give it a full watch.
